The Science Social was born out of a misinformation crisis. We noticed that bad information was being shared more frequently than real, meaningful research.
As a group of researchers at the beginning of our academic careers, this not only frustrated us, but it motivated us to collectively challenge fake news. Read our first blog post about misinformation here.
What is research if you cannot communicate it?
The Science Social provides a platform for researchers to communicate their research and experiences to a broad audience, and provides the platform for the science curious to ask questions and engage with science. We cover all things Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Social Research, Mental Health and experiences from researchers themselves.
Our ultimate goal is to provide people with a toolkit to challenge misinformation and disinformation, whilst providing fresh scientific content.
